This page explains how to delete your TardiGeddon account, or just some of your data, and what we delete and keep. TardiGeddon is made by EVCV Limited. You don't need an account to play, and if you never made one, we hold no account data about you.
Section 1 — Delete Your Account
1.0 In the Game (Fastest)
1.0.1 Open TardiGeddon (in the Android app or at https://tardigeddon.com/play) and sign in.
1.0.2 Open the menu and go to 👤 Account.
1.0.3 Under Manage, tap Delete account.
1.0.4 Type your password to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
1.1 By Email
1.1.1 If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days, and usually much sooner, and tell you when it's done.
1.1.2 Parents and carers can ask us to delete a child's account the same way (see our Children's Privacy Policy).
Section 2 — What Is Deleted, and What Is Kept
2.0 Deleted Straight Away
2.0.1 Your account: email address, player name and password.
2.0.2 Everything the account owns and has earned: shop items, coins and Slime (coins can't be refunded once the account is gone), the record of where your coins came from, and your game stats.
2.0.3 Your control settings saved to the account, and every sign-in session.
2.0.4 Copies in our database provider's backups are overwritten within its normal backup cycle.
2.1 Kept
2.1.1 Purchase records (what was bought, when, for how much, the country of the payment if known, and the payment references): kept for six years after the end of the financial year of the purchase, because UK tax law requires it. They are no longer linked to you once your account is deleted. Google and Stripe keep their own records of payments made through them.
2.1.2 Gifts you sent or claimed: the record stays while the other player's account exists, so they keep what they were given, but it no longer points to your account.
2.1.3 Player reports made by or about you, and emails you sent us: kept for up to 24 months, as set out in our Privacy Policy (Section 5.1).
2.1.4 Settings on your device (your teams, sound settings, blocked players and so on) are not sent to us, so we can't delete them. Uninstall the app, or clear the site's data in your browser, to remove them.
Section 3 — Delete Some Data Without Deleting Your Account
3.0.1 Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and say what you'd like deleted, for example your game stats or your player name (we'll replace it with a neutral one). We will do it within 30 days, or explain why we can't (for example, purchase records we must keep for tax).
3.0.2 Your team and tardigrade names are kept on your device, not by us: change them at any time in the game's team editor.
