Introduction

This policy explains how we protect the intellectual property in TardiGeddon, what you may do with it (including sharing videos of your games), and how to report content you believe infringes your copyright.

Section 1 — Ownership of Content

1.0 Copyright Notice

1.0.1 © 2026 EVCV Limited. All rights reserved. The TardiGeddon game and Website, including but not limited to their software, game design, characters, artwork, animations, sounds, text, logos, and the compilation thereof, are the property of the Company or its licensors and are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws. Third-party software and fonts are used under the licences listed on our Third-Party Licences & Attributions page.

1.1 Permitted Use

1.1.1 You may view the Website and play the game for your own personal, non-commercial use.

1.1.2 You may take screenshots and record video of your own games and share them, including on streaming and video sites where you earn money from your channel, provided that: (a) you do not sell the footage itself or charge people to access it as a product; (b) you do not suggest that the Company endorses you; and (c) you do not use our logos or mascot as your own branding.

1.1.3 Any other use of our content, including copying, hosting, or redistributing the game, its art, sounds, or code, without our prior written consent, is strictly prohibited.

Section 2 — Reporting Copyright Infringement

2.0 Notice and Takedown Procedure

2.0.1 The only content players can add to TardiGeddon is team and tardigrade names. If you believe that content available on or through the Services infringes your copyright, you (or your agent) may submit a written notice to [email protected] containing: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and where it appears (for example, the page, or the room code and team name in an online match); (c) your name, address, telephone number, and email address; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

2.1 Our Response

2.1.1 Upon receipt of a valid, complete notice, we will investigate the claim and, where appropriate, promptly remove or disable access to the material.

Section 3 — Counter-Notification

3.0 Filing a Counter-Notice

3.0.1 If you believe material you added was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] containing: (a) your contact details; (b) identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; (c) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and (d) a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

3.1 Restoration of Content

3.1.1 Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may, at our discretion and subject to applicable law, restore the removed material.

Section 4 — Repeat Infringers

4.0 Policy on Repeat Infringement

4.0.1 The Company reserves the right, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, to block access to online play for players who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

Section 5 — False Claims

5.0 Liability for Misrepresentation

5.0.1 Please be aware that submitting a false or bad-faith copyright infringement notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and legal fees incurred by the Company or others as a result of relying on the misrepresentation.

Section 6 — General Legal Provisions

6.0 Entire Agreement

6.0.1 This document, together with any other policies referenced within it, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company relating to its subject matter, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral, relating to that subject matter.

6.1 Severability

6.1.1 If any provision of this document is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, lawful, and enforceable.

6.1.2 If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision will be deemed deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

6.2 Waiver

6.2.1 No failure or delay by the Company in exercising any right, power, or remedy under this document shall operate as a waiver of that right, power, or remedy, nor shall any single or partial exercise preclude any other or further exercise.

6.2.2 Any waiver of any provision of this document will only be effective if given in writing by an authorised representative of the Company.

6.3 Assignment

6.3.1 You may not assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under this document without the prior written consent of the Company.

6.3.2 The Company may assign, transfer, or sub-contract any of its rights or obligations under this document at any time, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, provided such assignment does not materially diminish the rights you have been granted.

6.4 Force Majeure

6.4.1 The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this document where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial action, government action, pandemic, power or telecommunications failure, or failure of third-party suppliers or hosting providers.

6.5 No Third-Party Rights

6.5.1 Except as expressly stated, this document does not confer any rights on any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise, and no third party shall have any right to enforce any of its provisions.

6.6 Relationship of the Parties

6.6.1 Nothing in this document shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and the Company.

6.7 Notices

6.7.1 Any notice required to be given under this document shall be in writing and shall be delivered by email to the relevant address specified in the Company Details section above, and shall be deemed received 24 hours after being sent, provided no delivery failure notification is received. As the Services do not currently use accounts, we may give notices to you by publishing them on the Website.

6.8 Language and Translation

6.8.1 This document is drafted in English. Any translated versions are provided for convenience only, and in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.

6.9 Survival

6.9.1 Provisions of this document which by their nature are intended to survive termination or expiry — including but not limited to provisions relating to intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability, confidentiality, and governing law — shall survive any termination or expiry of your relationship with the Company.

6.10 Interpretation

6.10.1 Headings in this document are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

6.10.2 Words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa. References to "including" or "such as" are illustrative and shall not limit the generality of the preceding words.

Section 7 — Amendments to This Document

7.0 Our Right to Update

7.0.1 The Company may revise and update this document at any time, at its sole discretion, to reflect changes in our practices, the Services (for example, when player accounts or cosmetic purchases are introduced), or applicable law.

7.0.2 The "Last Modified" date at the top of this document will be updated whenever changes are made. Where changes are material, we will use reasonable endeavours to provide additional notice, such as a prominent notice on the Website or in the game, before the change takes effect.

7.1 Your Continued Use

7.1.1 Your continued access to or use of the Website or Services after any revisions to this document take effect constitutes your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the revised document.

7.1.2 If you do not agree to the revised document, you must stop using the Website and Services.
