EVCV Limited (trading as "TardiGeddon"), referred to throughout this document as "the Company", "we", "us", or "our".

Any reference to "you" or "your" refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the Website or Services.

Introduction

TardiGeddon is made with the help of artificial intelligence ("AI"). This policy says plainly how we use it, how we don't, and who is responsible. In short: AI tools help us write the game's and the Website's code and text, a person at EVCV Limited checks and approves everything before it is released, the game itself contains no generative AI, and we never use your data to train AI.

Section 1 — How We Use AI to Make TardiGeddon

1.0 AI-Assisted Development

1.0.1 We use an AI coding assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic, used through its Claude Code tool) to help write and test the software for the game, the online game server and this Website.

1.0.2 We also use it to help write text, such as the Website's copy, in-game messages and drafts of our legal pages. Our legal pages start from our own templates and are reviewed by us.

1.1 Human Oversight and Responsibility

1.1.1 Every change made with AI assistance is reviewed and approved by a person at EVCV Limited before it is released. AI tools do not publish anything on their own.

1.1.2 We are fully responsible for TardiGeddon, the Website and everything on them, whether or not AI helped to make it.

1.2 Artwork, Sound and Media

1.2.1 The game's characters, hats and scenery are drawn by the game's own code from simple vector shapes, and its sound effects are generated by code in your browser. That code was written with AI assistance as described above.

1.2.2 We have not used AI image, video, music or voice generators to create the game's artwork, sounds or characters.

1.2.3 Every screenshot and video clip on this Website is recorded from the real game. We do not use stock images or AI-generated pictures to show the game.

1.2.4 If we ever add AI-generated artwork or audio, we will update this policy and say so.

Section 2 — AI in the Game Itself

2.0 The CPU Opponent

2.0.1 The computer-controlled opponent ("CPU") is a conventional, rule-based program. It tries out possible shots inside the game's own physics, picks one, and then presses the same buttons a player would. It is not generative AI and does not learn from you or from other players.

2.1 No Chatbots or Generated Content

2.1.1 TardiGeddon has no chatbots and no AI-generated content in play. The tardigrades' speech bubbles (taunts, excuses and so on) are fixed lines written in advance.

Section 3 — Your Data and AI

3.0.1 We do not use your data, your team names or anything you do in the game to train AI models, and we do not send it to AI services.

3.0.2 We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

3.0.3 How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Section 4 — Accuracy and Feedback

4.0.1 Despite our reviews, mistakes can slip through, whether or not AI was involved. If you spot something wrong, unfair or inaccurate, please tell us at [email protected] and we will look into it.

Section 5 — Amendments to This Policy

5.0 Our Right to Update

5.0.1 We may update this policy as our use of AI changes. When we do, we will change the "Last Modified" date at the top of this page.
